There is a new feature in Google AdWords campaign settings called Optimize for Conversions. This ad rotation setting proposes to optimize which ads display in search results for any given search query based on historical data. Traditionally, advertisers had two options - optimize ad rotation to achieve the best click through rate (CTR), or rotate ads so that they show more evenly. There were advantages to both styles of ad rotation, but one had to be vigilant in regards to monitoring which ads were truly producing conversion value.
